Religion in Kerala

Kerala is the thirteenth most populous state in India and has a diverse population with followers of many different religions and communities. According to the 2011 census, out of the population of 33.4 million, approximately 18.2 million (54.73%) identified as Hindu, 8.873 million (26.56%) as Muslim, and 6.141 million (18.38%) as Christian. Additionally, 0.26% stated no religion and 0.05% followed other religions.
