Religion in Nagaland

Nagaland is the fifth most populous North Eastern state of India and has a predominantly Christian population. At the census 2011, out of the 20 lakh population, around 17.40 lakhs (87.93%) have returned themselves as followers of Christianity, 1.73 Lakhs (8.75%) as Hindus, and 49 thousand (2.47%) as Muslims. In addition, 0.12% Stated No religion & 0.73% are other religions.
